It has been a wonderful start to dancing for 2017 at Mount Isa School of Dance, with week 1 seeing the return and welcoming of students to ballet, jazz, tap, funk and contemporary classes.
Our adult classes have proven to be popular with tap and contemporary full of those who have a passion for dance.
Our little ballerinas have pirouetted their way through class with Miss B and Miss Amy, and our big ballerinas have been put straight to work by Miss Leanne and Miss Peta.
We are heading to the Mount Isa Super Sports Expo tomorrow at the Civic Centre from 9-12- come and say hello, or have a look at what our wonderfully established school of 20 years can offer you.
Miss Shaylee and Miss Suzi spent all day Sunday at the Conroy Dance Centre in Brisbane studying and learning the new CSTD syllabus for tap grades 1-5. This syllabus has got some great new rhythmic and technical combinations as well as really catchy tunes to tap to!! They are both looking forward to sharing their new skills and knowledge with our MISD tap students. Watch out!!
Did you see us in the paper on Tuesday 23rd January? North West Star reporter Chris Burns attended our sign up day and discussed the addition of our adult Tap and Contemporary classes with committee member Rita Long.
There have been numerous requests over the years for our adult classes to return, and with new teaching staff, we were able to get these up and running again.
If you are insterested in attending any of our classes, children or adult classes, please feel free to pop down to the hall on a Saturday morning between 9-11am or email us at email@example.com for more information.
